The central, two-storey entrance hall with a skylight opens up the villa vertically. The skylight brings the hall into the light of day; a moving sun screen prevents overheating and uneven light intensity. Automatically dimmed, daylight white and warm white fluorescent bulbs complement the natural light based on the light colour throughout the day. Major decorative element is a Venetian chandelier, which can be let down for maintenance.
