Located in Frankfurt's Westend, Cityhaus was renovated in 2008. Its natural stone core illuminated by downlights, the dramatic entryway is the focal point of the ground floor while enclosed stairwells form a lighted seam between the structure's opposing wings. RGB LED lights in the upper facade create vertical cross hatching, delineating the architecture and setting Cityhaus apart from the jumbled night skyline. A DMX-control system enables the LEDs to constantly vary their colour.
