Conceived as a temporary information and exhibition building, the HumboldtBox accompanies the construction of the Humboldt Forum (Berlin City Palace). The adjustable backlit outer shell is made of a textile fabric that covers a characteristic steel skeleton construction. The lighting of the single facade panels can be controlled separately and result in an extremely flexible, highly visible and striking appearance.
