Approximately one million people per year visit the "Autostadt Wolfsburg", which now offers another impressive highlight. After a construction time of only six months, the Volkswagen brand pavilion reopens its doors and offers varied insights into the diverse VW-universe. Besides a more than 15-metre-high media sculpture, the neutral glass cube also accommodates a large exhibition space on which various vehicles can be positioned freely for exhibition purposes. According to the conceptual understanding of the pavilion as a white cube, all the luminaires have been mounted beyond the glazing, between large vertical fins. Thanks to complex calculations based on detailed 3D-models, a homogeneous lighting of the exhibits could be reached in all positions and from all sides.
