The new construction of the One Nine Elms Tower will decisivly shape and enrich the skyline of London in the future. The exterior lighting emphasizes the architectural structures and divides the building complex vertically. The light layers were designed differently to interweave the observer‘s location from the street level as well as from neighboring buildings as well as from the distance into a harmonious light composition. Energy efficiency, optimal dimming for the users of the units as well as the reduction of technical components for the maintenance strategies form the basis besides the holistic, creative lighting design. The illumination supports the holistic concept and creates a further landmark as the tallest residential building in Great Britain by means of luminaires optimally integrated into the architectural façade details.
