Artificial Lighting

Lichtvision has a multitude of experience planning artificial lighting projects on both the national and international level. Wherever the design is planned, dialogue, hand sketches and reference images are the best communication tools in the concept phase. Through the investigation of materials and spatial arrangements, project-specific design objectives regarding light and its qualities can be established. During the schematic phase, Lichtvision conducts photometric calculations using up-to-date techniques and further investigates spaces all while maintain coordination with other building trades. Schematic concept reports, CAD drawings and lighting control descriptions all document the result of this planning phase. The design concept is then elaborated upon and clarified through the support from electrical and structural engineers during the design development phase. Tender documents are always prepared in accordance to local requirements and regulations. Lichtvision also supports the client in award negotiations and evaluates alternatives all while providing the targeted lighting qualities. Lichtvision also provides the any necessary support during the construction phase with mock-ups and lighting designers with hands-on experience.
